Description:
The Baoming lead-zinc project is located in the "Three Rivers Base Metal Belt" in Yunnan Province, southwest China. The under explored belt extends south from Tibet, through southwestern China and continues into Vietnam, a distance of over 1,000 kilometres. The belt has seen limited exploration to date, but is host to the Jinding/Lanping zinc mine, a deposit with an overall resource that ranks it as one of the top ten zinc deposits in the world today based on insitu resource value and the largest zinc mine in China.
